Not much of a review for juicy, because if you're reading this I'm sure you already know and love it. I'm writing about my experience with beauty encounter because thats what I was looking for when I was purchasing this perfume for the first time. Well ... its REAL! I'd been skeptical about buying perfume from this site because I'd been scammed online before and received a fake (from ebay), but this is real! Scent last as long as it should, bottle is in tip top shop ... will buy perfume from beauty encounter again!

Hard to describe! Yes, it's anise, but not in any way heavy, overpowering, syrupy or like licorice candy. This scent defies catagorization: it's clean, dry (not sweet) and absolutely unisex (formal dinner, Yes... roses and candlelight, No). I like it in midsummer because it is never cloying, always clean—in fact, I'd say it has a softly soapy component complementing the anise. I like it in midwinter because the scent is cool and fresh like snow when the sun is slipping down. This was my first Guerlain, a blind buy, and soooo worth it! I love to layer fragrances, and Anisia Bella is somehow both classy and casual as a "soliflore" added to a warm base. The only downside is that it softens down rapidly, and needs frequent reapplication, as it has practically no base notes of its own.

I love to layer it starting in the shower with the shower gel, a spritz of the perfum and then apply the lotion. I get so many compliments from men and women. Even at the end of the day it stays fresh smelling and doesn't get that old perfume smell that others gets. I'm addicted to it and it's my signature scent. My only problem is that I'm having problems finding the shower gel and that's what makes the whole thing stay fresh all day. We need to petition Prescriptives to start making the shower gel again. Because that's the key to keeping the all day freshness.

Generally I'm not a floral/fruity person. I had sprayed on a sample some years ago at an Anthropologie store in Seattle, then climbed on a plane to "back home," still sniffing at myself contentedly, not believing how nicely it "wore" and kept its integrity over time. Kept thinking about this fragrance over the years but couldn't find it anyplace, other than online. It's not complex or sophisticated. It "plays" just one well-balanced note which I'd characterize as sunshine-fresh, charming, and not overly sweet. There aren't layers so you get the same fragrance from first to last which I also find to be a plus. For me there are no negatives. Would recommend to those who like straightforward, "happy" fragrances.
