product description & tips
Testers and Unboxed Items
"Testers" products are 100% original and come in the unopened, unused manufactured
packaging and labeled “Demonstration” or “Not for Sale.” Testers are intended for
marketing or promotional items which you use at retail outlets to test the products
and therefore, may lack the designer cap/tops and fancy outer box packaging. We
offer for sale new and unused Tester products at a much lower price compared to
the original packaged items. Testers are a great way for you to enjoy your favorite
scent without compromising the quality.
"Unboxed" products are 100% original and unused. These items were either damaged
in transit or come from a gift set that was separated. Unboxed products have the
same high quality item but sold at a lower price compared to the original packaging.

Fragrance Levels
Perfume is composed of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts diluted in water
and high-grade alcohol. The composition of these oil extracts determines the concentration
or “strength” of the fragrance and the lasting power of the scent. Below are the
different fragrance levels:
Eau de Cologne – least concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 1 hour)
Eau de Toilette – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 2 hours)
Eau de Parfum – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 3-4 hours)
Perfume or Parfum Classic – most concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 5-6 hours)
Fragrance and Your Body Chemistry
Fragrance lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our
skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels. People with dry skin usually find their
fragrance holding time shorter than those with oily skin because oily skin has more
natural moisture to hold in the fragrance.
PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) also vary slightly from person to person.
Our individual levels of PH will determine how each ingredient in a fragrance will
react.
How-to Make Your Scent Last Longer
To achieve a longer effect try layering your fragrance by using the fragrance bath
gel (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder, and then the Eau
de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne. This will create longer-lasting effect.
Apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck,
so that the scent rises and you won't lose it as quickly. A light spray on the hair
can last all day.
How-to Preserve Your Fragrance
Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance
the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a
longer shelf life.
What Are Fragrance Notes?
A fragrance is comprised of different scents also referred to as "notes."
There are three levels of notes: Top, Middle and Base or Bottom notes. Top notes
are very light and are the initial scents that you smell. Top notes last up to 5-10
minutes. Middle notes become apparent within 15 minutes after application. These
can last up to an hour or more. Finally, the Base or Bottom notes are the heavier
ingredients. These scents typically last the longest, and will linger for several
hours.
