Q. How do I sign up for My BE Perks?
A. You may enroll online at BeautyEncounter.com by creating a My BE Account which will only require you to provide your email address and password for login.
 
Q. Are there any fees?
A. There are absolutely no fees for joining! This is a free rewards program for us to show our appreciation to all our BE customers.
 
Q. How do I discontinue My BE Perks account?
A. To discontinue your My BE Perks account, provide notice via email to Customer Care. All accrued BE Points and BE Perks will be forfeited at that time. Cancellation may take up to 48 hours.
 
Q. Why am I receiving email communications regarding My BE Perks?
A. If you are enrolled in My BE Perks at BeautyEncounter.com, we will send email communications regarding the status of your My BE Perks balance. If you wish not to receive these email communications, you must manage your subscriptions or unsubscribe from one of the My BE Perks emails you received from BeautyEncounter.com .

Q. How do I earn BE Points?
A. Create a My BE Account
You must create a My BE Account. Once you create an account, you will automatically get 250 BE Points just for joining! If you already have a My BE Account, 250 BE Points should have been automatically posted to your account at the start of the program, October 01, 2012.

Purchase Qualifying Products
You must login to your account when you make a purchase. For every purchase made, you will earn 1 BE Point for every dollar spent on the total amount spent on products (not valid on discounts from promotional codes). See example earnings chart below. You must be logged into your account when you make your purchase so the BE Points can be recorded.

Rate & Review Products
Review a product and quickly earn 15 BE Points. To review a product: Go to the product page of the product you would like to review. Underneath the product photo, there is a link to “Write Review”. Click on the link to write a review for that product. Make sure you are signed into your MY BE Account so that the review can be recorded. Refer to our “Tips for Writing a BE Review” to ensure your review will qualify to be submitted onto the site. Once the review is qualified, you will be rewarded with 15 BE Points.

 
Q. What are qualifying purchases?
A. All product purchases made at BeautyEncounter.com.
 
Q. Are there any restrictions on what earns BE Points?
A. There are certain actions that will not be valid for BE Point earning such as: order adjustments, cancelled orders, replacement orders, returns, shipping and handling, surcharges, gift services, sales tax, store services, prior purchases, purchases made with an E-Coupon, purchases made with E-Gift Certificates, purchases made with Store Credit, discounts from promotional codes, or checking out as a guest.
 
Q. What is the difference between “Pending” BE Points and “Earned” BE Points?
A. Earned BE Points will post to your account after 30 days of the ship date for domestic US shipments and 45 days for international shipments. Points will be considered “Pending” prior to the 30 day requirement for domestic US shipments and 45 days for international shipments. Only Earned BE Points (Available BE Points) count towards My BE Perks rewards.
 
Q. When do BE Points get posted as Earned in My BE Perks?
A. After the pending period of 30 days from ship date for domestic US shipments and after 45 days from ship date for international shipments.
 
Q. Where can I see My BE Points balance?
A. Your BE Points will be posted in your account under My BE Perks. Simply log in to your My BE Account to view the BE Points you have earned on your purchases so far.
 
Q. How do I join My BE Perks if I do not have an email address?
A. You must have a valid email address to enroll in My BE Perks.
 
Q.Can my friends and family share my My BE Perks account?
A. No, My BE Perks are not transferable.
 
Q. Why has my “Available BE Points” balance decreased?
A. There are a couple of reasons you may see your “Available BE Points” balance decrease. Your BE Points expire two (2) years from the day your My BE Account is last active. A My BE Account is considered “active” if there has been at least 1 order placed or qualifying activity that has constituted in earning BE Points. Therefore, if your My BE Account is considered “inactive” your Available BE Points will be forfeited. If your Account Balance was over 1,000 BE Points, you may have redeemed a BE Perks reward. In this case, you will see your “Available BE Points” balance decrease by 1,000 BE Points or more depending on your BE Perks reward redeemed which will be updated to “Redeemed BE Points”.
 
Q. What should I do if I think there’s an error in My BE Perks account?
A. If you think there’s an error, please contact Customer Care.
 
Q. Do my BE Points expire?
A. Yes. Your BE Points expire two (2) years from the day your My BE Account is last active. A My BE Account is considered “active” if there has been at least 1 order placed or qualifying activity that has constituted in earning BE Points. Therefore, if your My BE Account is considered “inactive” your Available BE Points will be forfeited.
 
Q. When I return a product, how are my BE Points affected?
A. If you return a product within the pending period of 30 days from ship date for domestic US shipments or 45 days for international shipments, you will not earn the points for the product returned. However, if you returned the product after the pending period we may forfeit your earned BE Points.
 
Q. What if I return a product where I have earned and redeemed BE Points?
A. Returns must be made within the pending period. Contact Customer Care with any further questions or concerns regarding your return.
 
My BE Perks
 
Q. Where can I redeem BE Perks?
A. You can redeem your BE Perks online at BeautyEncounter.com with as little as 1,000 BE Points. The more BE Points you accumulate, the larger the reward.
 
Q. When will I be able to redeem my BE Perks?
A. Starting January 1, 2013, BE Perks will become available as long as the Available BE Points value is sufficient for conversion.
 
Q. How can I redeem my BE Perks?
A. You must be logged in to your My BE Account in order to redeem your BE Perks. You will have the opportunity to apply your BE Perks to your order at Checkout. To see your Available BE Perks balance, go to My BE Perks.
 
Q. What is the conversion of BE Points into BE Perks?
A. Every 1,000 BE Points equates to $10.00. For every 1,000 BE Points you earn, your Available BE Points balance will display converted in increments of $10.00. You will be able to apply your BE Perks reward at Checkout. You will have the option to select which redemption value you would like to redeem on your order given that it is less than the total dollar amount of your shopping bag. See example conversion chart below.

Q. Are there any restrictions for redeeming BE Perks?
A. You must redeem your BE Perks in increments of $10.00.
 
Q. Do I have to use the entire value of the BE Perks in one transaction?
A. No, you may use your BE Perks in increments of $10.00. The order total must be greater than the amount that is being redeemed. If you order value is less than the total BE Perks available, you may only be able to redeem the amount that is less than the order total.
 
Q. Do my BE Perks expire?
A. Your BE Perks expire two (2) years from the day your My BE Account is last active. A My BE Account is considered “active” if there has been at least 1 order placed or qualifying activity that has constituted in earning BE Perks. Therefore, if your My BE Account is considered “inactive” your Available BE Perks will be forfeited.
 
Q. If I return a product where I used BE Perks to make the purchase, do I get my BE Perks back?
A. If you redeemed your BE Perks on an product you are returning within the pending period, the amount will be returned to your account in the form of Store Credit.
 
Q. Can I earn BE Points and redeem BE Perks on the same purchase?
A. You cannot earn BE Points when redeeming BE Perks on the same purchase. For example, if the total of your order is $50 and you use $10 BE Perks, you will only receive 40 BE Points.
