it's a sweet, warm, fruity, charming, floriental very girlie / feminine fragrance. this limited edition is similar to regular edp/edt/intense versions as the difference in notes (as far as my nose is concerned) is rather subtle. the scent lasts for a long time, clothes can smell even for a couple of days. it is definitely a nighttime perfume but i also like to wear it daily, especially on cold days. it was a great purchase for a great price!

I got a sample of this -- I still don't know quite what to make of it. It isn't quite generic, but I suppose I prefer a sultrier fragrance and more sillage. It's pleasant and sweet enough with it's white floral accords, and the vanilla drydown is nice. I am on the fence about having a bottle -- it is like a romantic 'work' scent too me, too prim to really be seductive. I might find when my sample is exhausted, I miss it. Only then will I know whether or not it's worth investing in that striking bottle!

I got the 1.7 oz for $38.50 in Dec 2012. The reason why it was so cheap was probably because it was manufactured in Aug 2010. So it'll last for about another 8 months. This is okay with me because I intend to use it a lot and the value is incredible (1.7 oz for less than $40). Acqua di Gioia smells amazing. I love the mint and sugar notes. It's not candy-sweet; fresh but not in a citrus-y way, though it does contain a lemon note. Somewhat melon-like. This perfume does not last very long on me, but since it came with such a big discount, I don't mind re-spraying throughout the day. I can smell faint wafts of it sometimes, a couple of hours later. Also, it took about a week from the time I ordered to the time I received it.
