After purchasing the exclusive Italian lingerie at La Perla, I picked up one this perfume bottle. I fell in love with the smell. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find and purchase in the States, so luckily BE has it in stock. Crossing fingers it does not get discontinued in the States or else I'll have to make trips to Italy. If you're used to designer perfumes, this one is a good mix. It is great for the professional sophisticated sassy lady that we all are and love to be. Great bargain for the price as well.

I'm new to the fragrance "game" but have been testing/sampling like crazy and while I want to keep going to build a fragrance "wardrobe" I could easily have stopped with GPH2. I've read MANY reviews that talk about how this fragrance is calming and while it seems like an odd way to describe something you smell it is accurate. I'm sure it centers around the tea note since most would associate the drinking of tea to be a relaxing and comforting experience. But for me the hidden gem that takes this from calming to near perfection is the violet note. Through my sampling I've come across all kinds of violet but none (so far) that present it as well as GPH2. I would not have thought of violet as something I would actively seek out in masculine fragrances but after experiencing it the way GPH2 offers it I do. It is important to note that this is only NEAR perfection to me and that is because of the longevity issues. As I've sampled and learned I've started steering towards longer lasting/projecting cents because with the money that can be spent I don't want to have to bury my nose in my skin and inhale as deeply as possible to get a minor whiff after only an hour or two. It just doesn't make sense to me. However, with GPH2 I almost don't care plus I've found that including some on my clothes helps retain it for much longer. Finally I would offer that if there was ever a truly safe blind buy I don't know how GPH2 couldn't be the one.

It is very handy to carry around, well absorbing, and not leaving the greasy feeling on the skin. Works well on skin. I apply it after a handwashes. Cream leaves delicate pleasant fragrance. It is a bit heavier than Pivoine Flora, which is my favorite from the series. However, it is on rather expensive side as for such a small volume.
