I was told by a rep that the company that the company had a brown colored lipgloss. I thought that brown was a dark color because when I received the lipgloss, it was very light in color, I thought that they had sent me the wrong color. I am aware of what the color brown looks like. I almost ordered from MaryKay; I should have. Unfortunately, one cannot tell what the color is because of lighting; therefore, once it is opened and is used (to try out color), it cannot be returned. I have learned my lesson. I have darker skin tone and the color lipgloss (#3) that I ordered thinking that it was dark brown (according to the photo) looks like a peach color on me and is the first thing one sees when they look at me. I can be spotted in a crowd very easily!
