It is an oriental fragrance that was released as a limited edition back in 1999. The scent builds from its exotic side to a feminine floral, on top of a seductive spicy and warm layer. This composition is the work of top perfumers, Jean-Paul Guerlain and Mathilde Laurent. They created a work of art with notes of mint, bergamot, lily, jasmine, rose, pear, vanilla, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, and iris. It is a rich fragrance that can be worn year round, but that is especially appropriate during the summer.

    I love this scent. It reminds me of the warmth of the sun and the sand at the beach somehow though there are no aquatic notes in it. It is lovely and classic. The spicy note is the carnation - typically not a favorite flower of mine, however in this scent it works magically. I highly recommend. The dry-down and longevity of the scent is terrific.
