Mavala Switzerland Mavala Stop is a clear formulation that features a distinct and unpleasant bitter flavor that discourages determined thumb suckers and nail biters from putting their fingers in their mouths. One application is all that is required for two days of prevention of unwanted habits that bring fingers to the mouth. Every application requires only a single coat, which takes about one minute to dry. The formula is appropriate for adults and children over the age of three years. It can be used on its own or as a top coat over nail polish. As it is transparent, it will not alter the shade of the polish.

    It works on my daughter so far, her nails and skins do not look nice. I just started using it so we'll see how it goes. My mother when I was a teenager used it on me and it worked.
