    I love this perfume and have been using it for many years, it is sad that they have stopped selling the 3oz. tall refill as the round shape bottle is difficult to hold onto when spraying, especially if you have arthritis in your hands I use this daily and people always comment on how beautiful the scent is. I put it on at 6:00 a.m. and at 9:00 in the evening it is still something that people will comment on and ask what are you wearing, it smells so nice. Just need to go back to the tall container.

    I HAVE BEEN USING FIRST SINCE 1977. I HAVE ALL THE PRODUCTS THAT WERE AVAILABLE BACK THEN. I REALLY LOVE THE SMELL AND DO NOT WANT TO WEAR ANYTHING ELSE. I DID NOT LIKE THE PRODUCT THAT WAS SENT TO ME. IT JUST DOES NOT SMELL LIKE THE OLD FIRST. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I DO NOT HAVE A SUPPLY. PLEASE GET THE ORIGINAL AND LET ME KNOW WHEN IT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. I AM DESPERATE.

    I agree with dkay from Atlanta. I have always been known for my fragrance, First by VC&A. However, the last 2 bottles of Eau de Parfum have been weak and not like the fragrance I'm used to. What has happened? Has it been adulterated or have I been getting a generic version?

    When you receive compliments daily on your fragrance, you have found the right one! I have been wearing FIRST for several years and it is still as invigorating and fills me with joy every morning, as the first time I wore it. It is a subtle, sophisticated fragrance, unlike any other. When asked its name, people run for a pen, as they have never heard of it, adding to the mystery! Two things I do not leave the house without...lipstick and a spritz of FIRST!!

    Over the past few years I have bought my signature fragrance "First" from Perfume Bay, and now from Beauty Encounter. I don't know what's wrong with this bottle of "First" that I recently received, but it doesn't smell like "First" and it is extremely weak. Either it's very old or perhaps the formula has been tampered with. In any case, I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. It is not the quality that I have received in the past from Beauty Encounter.

    T his is a very sophisticated perfume I have been using since 1976. There are only a few others that give me this same sense of pleasure at the first spray. Like Gem (Van Cleef), Coco, Diorissimo, Caleche, Paoma Picasso, Samsara, it's a perfume with personality and Beauty encounter offers it for half price . I do not buy perfumes anywhere else anymore.
