This is the smoooothest, most GORGEOUS Sueded Leather / Floral / Vanilla EVER! With this limited release (Lancome's "La Collection" of 4 fragrances), Lancome endeavored to re-introduce the retro classification of fine LEATHER perfumery- Yes, girls, there was a time when leather was an entire genre of perfumery, which most well-dressed / impeccably - groomed women wore... It was the perfume of the wealthy- Back when leather car seats, and leather furniture, and leather garments, were actually made from real top grain leather- Not limited to only specialty leather couches costing more than many cars today! This perfume is amazingly smooth, and feminine, it just purrrrs along, with the softest, silkiest and most prominent / long-lasting Vanilla dry-down (trail scent, after the Leather / Floral heart of the perfume has exhausted on the skin). The juxtaposition of the dry Sueded Leather, against the Tender Florals, and the natural Sweetness of the Vanilla, is genious! Furthermore, the incredible smoothness of each component ties it all together. A Masterpiece!
