    Comments about Comptoir Sud Pacifique Barbier Des Isles, 3.3 oz Eau de Toilette Spray:

    I have enjoyed Comptoir sud Pacifique perfumes for many years after discovering them in St. Martin. Their vanilla blends are delicious so I thought I'd take a chance on a good deal on another one of their fragrances. I should have suspected anything with such an odd name would turn out odd as well. First, no way is this a feminine fragrance. It remnds me of when I'd go to the barber shop with my dad as a kid. Barbier Des Isles smells like the mystery liquid the barbers would soak the used combs in. This is a pungent lime-like smell, but more like a deodorizer. It gave me an immediate headache and would not want my man to wear this either. I wish some sort of description was given with this item. I'll never buy another fragrance without actual testing first!
