The packaging was what sold me at first on this product, definitely an eye catcher for someone who loves all things vintage. This is a great color that glides on easily and lasts for hours. a perfect finish for that vintage look

I am attracted to Besame's concept and could kick myself for not stocking up when they redid their packaging and sold their existing stock for a song. The packaging, while beautiful, is flimsy. Since the product is so stiff and the container is so delicate, I am afraid the l/s is going to break before I finish it. The lipstick has a long-wearing formula but is extremely dry. I need to wear a balm under it. If I put a gloss over it, it smears and gets on my teeth. The color selections are great. There is a Besame Red for everyone. I love this, but I wear darker lip colors than most people. Be prepared for a dark, dark red.

This is my least favorite color because it's pink-y (cool), and I need warmer colors. It's not fair for me to detract from a rating because the color isn't ideal for me, but it's too cool. I won't be wearing it much.

I have been a Besame Cosmetics fan since it came on the scene in 2003. This makeup is a high end brand but affordable. Its slogan is "The Vintage Experts". The pigment is high so you only need to use a bit.It brings back luxury and romance to your beauty rituals. Each item is carefully thought out and the packaging is even accurate. From the bullet lipstick, which you can still find,to the designs, the scents and beauty of the makeup is worth it. I use it everyday and get many compliments not just on how pretty I look but the packaging and how feminine it is.The company works closely with its customers and will go out of its way to make you happy! I am happy and since using Besame Cosmetics I have never used another brand. The newest is actually a comeback. The Crimson Rouge, which sells out fast, is now a cream which is not just for your cheeks but lips! Use just a touch and you are good to go and it makes you have that "just been kissed" look! As in all their products, it is made to last all day and very little touching up is needed. My other favorite is the 1930's mascara! It has a lovely gingerbread scent. It's one of the most natural mascara on the market today! The Cashmere powder comes in an elegant gold metal compact and houses a silky soft powder foundation that gives you a flawless coverage. Besame offers refills so you don't have to worry about not being able to ever use the beautiful container again! The Sweetheart Balm is lovely and you get a generous amount and has a vanilla scent and flavor. Keeps your lips moist and conditioned. Wear alone or with lipstick. The eye and lip pencils are long lasting and can be applied so easy without struggling. And they too come in very pretty containers! My advice is this, try it and I promise you will feel like a Hollywood Starlet of yesterday,me personally, I feel like Rita Hayworth when I wear my Besame Cosmetics!
