Elizabeth Arden opened the first Red Door Salon on Fifth Avenue more than a century ago. A tireless entrepreneur, today there are Red Door Salons in the majority of fashion capitals around the globe. Red Door perfume was inspired by, and named after these salons. Elizabeth Arden perfumes include such favorites as Eau Fraiche by Elizabeth Arden and Green Tea Scent by Elizabeth Arden. She pioneered the creation of “the makeover,” and was the first to introduce eye makeup to American women. The Elizabeth Arden makeup line also includes Elizabeth Arden foundation, blush, and lipstick. Elizabeth Arden’s belief that “to be beautiful is the birthright of every woman,” lives on today.
