This fragrance is elegant, but not stuffy or too formal. Breathtakingly beautiful! All of the Amouage fragrances are lovely, but this one is my favorite. Truly a special scent.

This is my first love from Amouage! It helps to be bold to wear this...it definitely is unusual. I think it's best suited to cooler weather and evening wear, but really would be fine any time and any time of year. It has elements of the outdoors, of a spice shop, sweetness...for myself and my husband, it really is intoxicating. Lasts many hours and the drydown is lovely, more of the sweet wood and I believe Frankincense. The opening makes me feel as if I'm in the woods of my childhood, with all things deep, fresh, and growing (though not floral), with the bergamot and orange blossom coming through. It is horribly expensive, but after several months' consideration I decided it's worth it. I also love Interlude Man, though it has a stronger spice shop scent and is definitely stronger...and some of my female friends really dislike it on me (husband loves it, though).

The cologne I bought is for my husband's birthday next month. He's been using this product "Amouage Silver" since 2010 from the first time he used it, he love it very much and I love the scents too and since that time he never use another scent of cologne anymore so even if it is too expensive I still bought this as my birthday presents for him. I order this earlier because when I read the site it said that the shipment will take longer about 3 to 4 weeks due to dangerous product and I am so impress of the time frame I expect my order will arrive on the 2nd week of January but it was too soon got it just after Christmas. And the freebees I got for women were all awesome! I love all the scents I am pretty sure I am going to order for myself but not now since I still have a lot of different scents this time.

This is an extremely sophisticated fragrance that may be difficult to pull off while wearing jeans. However, if you love quality fragrance, then by all means wear it even with jeans! The notes are extremely well-blended; quality ingredients have been used. The persistence is very long. My favorite aspect of this fragrance was the unique tarragon note. It flitted in and out; this can't be called a tarragon fragrance. It simply added a unique note that kept the fragrance very interesting. The only way this product could be improved would be to make a smaller size so that it could be more affordable.

Amouage Lyric EDP is wonderful on its own...but the extrait is something special!! It is smooth, smokey, with no rough edges! Absolutely stunning! It is more of a fall/winter fragrance, since it is a heavy oriental! Perfection!
